About Us

Apla-Tech, Inc., began manufacturing Drywall Finishing Tools in 1995. In the initial years we introduced the Apla-Taper II®, "Cannon"®, Apla-Pump®, and Coaters to finish coat drywall and texture. Two more pneumatic pumps, the JR. Pump™ and T-Series Pump™, were later introduced. In 2000 we designed the Flat, outside 90°, and Inside 90°, mud heads to apply joint compound for tape-on products.

In 2004 we introduced the Paper Tape Apla-Cator followed in 2005 with the Continuous Flow System that could be attached to the Apla-Cator and our coaters. In 2006 we expanded tools to be offered to the drywall finisher by applying the Continuous Flow System to anyone's mechanical boxes. With our competitors only having one type of system to sell you we now have three different systems.

Thanks to your interest in finding an easier, better and faster way to finishing, we have grown and stand committed to providing you the highest quality products in the drywall industry today. Also, we provide our customers technical service and job training. And, we are very proud to say that our tools are manufactured in the USA.
